VEDA 26

VEDA 26 asks What Is your favorite Movie?

My favorite film is a few I loved "It's a Wonderful Life".  George Baily had dreams and almost non of them came true based on his ethics and devotion to family.  It was always tough for him to give all his opportunities up, for someone else....In the end he actually gave nothing up.  He was surrounded love and in his time of need his family and friends came through.

My other favorite film was Black Orpheus. The film set in Rio de Jiniero during Carnival.  It is based on a Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice, with the sound track by Brazilian composers, Antônio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfá.  I was pretty young when I saw this movie and it probably was dubbed.  Years later I have seen it with the subtitles.  I am still in awe of the look of the movie the sound and it's deepness.  Just love it.

This is appropriate, my 26th VEDA film was about the Tribeca Film Festival Awards Ceremony. Yup I walked the Red Carpet...not to any adoring fans, but it was still exciting non the less.
